peer editing useful?

Yes peer editing is useful and its a great thing to have. Because it allows us classmates to interact with each other but at the same time giving constructive critsism and making our papers better is great! and we can have fun doing this at the same time as well. We have only done peer editing a few times this semester and the times that we did it I enjoyed. But its also very inmportant at the same time to stay focused because it can be hard to stay focused escpecially with a big crowd. I also like the option if the writer doesnt want to share he doesnt have to and so this makes everything fair.

Do You Like Horror movies?

I like horror movies, because they are suspenseful and full of excitement. They always have me at the end of my tip toes waiting to see what will happen next. Horror movies are made to scare you! But some people cant take it some people can. I can take horror movies but the ones that get to me are the scary movies that are based on true events or on a true story. The reason that is because if a scary movie is fake its never gonna happen and its whatever to me. But if a movie that has true events and has happened its more exhilarating to me and scary. There is one movie that is the scariest to me and that would be the exorcism of Emily rose and the reason that is its based on a true exorcism with demons and so forth. my Brother actually got so scared he had to run out the movie theater. but he was never good with scary movies. So this is my opinion on scary movies.

Reason why this song brings me back is when I was 13 I could relate myself to this song were he would come to this place where they all missed him and when he came back they would all treat him with respect and loyalty. That is what I wanted to be treated like with respect and loyalty and every year when I came back to this campground I listen to this song to make myself feel uplifted and humble some friends that I havent seen in a year at this campsite would be real happy to see me and so therefore that is why this song has meaning and sentimental value to me.

It was interesting, to see how the different viewpoints of global wording I personally think that texting is an excellent way to express yourself because, its a fast easy way to communicate
and your not not nervous behind a text and so this is were I think texting does good, people disagree and agree but I find nothing wrong with texting...

Reflecting

My first journal was an ice breaker. Especially because its been a while since I've wrote something. But that journal showed me and made me realize how grateful I really was for proactive being a frequent customer, it works so well but. Yes there is a but ha ha but it only works for some people not everyone some it will get the job half done some, it will make worse and some it will help greatly but you can only find this out only if you try. For my writing skills I think I did good not excellent but good and for doing an essay, which is something that I really haven't done in a while I think I didn't do to bad. It needs more detail and elaborating but overall it sends the message which too me is the biggest point of any essay.

Why Do People Get Tattoos And Piercings?

Tattoo's and piercings are a way to express yourself, yes it may be a sin or it might not fit society's standards but I do believe people are entitled to their own opinions. If somebody wants to express who they are I think they can but in the end if it hurts them its there own fault. and noboday elses and so this is what I think of tattoos and piercings?

WHY GET COSMETIC SURGERY?

If it ever came down to it and there was a situation were I felt the need to get cosmetic surgery I would definitely get it because for self confidence and self esteem reasons I think it would be worth it. Some people use it too much like the famous celebrities and superstars but then they kill the purpose were they actually end up worsening there face to were you just say damn.

Some people are against and call it fake but Icall it awesome if it makes you feel better about yourself I say go for it just be responsible because a Little of too much of anything can be a disaster. that is what I feel about cosmetic surgery and how it can have a good or negative effect on people.

Impression of culture and ethnicity when growing up.

“As the soil, however rich it may be, cannot be productive without cultivation, so the mind without culture can never produce good fruit.” This is my view on culture, when I was growing up there was a variety. I grew up in a little neighborhood the culture and ethnicity there was very diverse surprisingly because after all it was a small town. Everyone that had lived on my street were a variety of different ethnicity's from white to Hispanic and black to Asian and we all got along, we all hung out together and we all used to play basketball games and we would love to throw block parties and it was a really fun time that "culture" part of time of my life I will never forget.

My experiences of different culture as a kid was pretty fount. My mother is Hispanic and my father is American so there are two cultures that I grew up with. my Hispanic side are usually the more party type of people. Heck what can i say actually both side of my family are the party type of people the different foods that we eat is what differs. I liked going to different parties from one to the next because the culture and the atmosphere always had a new hint of culture in the air. So overall that is what I feel and grew up, on the impression of culture and ethnicity.

Is pop culture a good theme for composition?

Pop culture is the music groups, the trend of clothes the way of life and the history of that time period. I personally think pop culture is an excellent topic for composition because it is a topic that we can all relate to no matter what. according to K.Turner "Popular culture and the mass media have a symbiotic relationship: each depends on the other in an intimate collaboration."
students should be held up with current events and whats going on now because our future depends on it.

Composition is the professional field of writing research and instruction, and for students to have the opportunity to have a chance to write about pop culture is exhilarating because then we can get different view points and opinions on that certain subject. Which is what learning is all about. So does pop culture and composition relate? Yes it does because we can use the arts of any time period to incorporate into our writing.
